I DIY my own fan from PC fans, just used a customed DC/ac_> 4pin PC fan plug and you are good to go. As with mounting, I fixed my 12cm fans on 2 bubble rods and place on top of my tank.
Hi guys, got a problem with my fan. It is just stopped working for some reason or another. the fan is those 1.5 red notes $15 type and this is the 2nd such fan that failed me. Any possibility to revive it? If not, any good reccomendations of fans besides the mr cool?

1. Coloured notes are just coded pricing information. Please refrain from such phrasing.
2. You are not stating any brands and shops, merely stating that you bought the $15 fan. That is acceptable, so why code the pricing?

the one i bought is something like what you described. but it just seem to spoil easily.
i DIY mine!!! super strong!!!
Can get all sort of sizes in SLT, get 1 and DIY it with an AC converter...easy and satisfying
