Do the brown areas wipe off? if so we are talking about algae.
If not we are talking about some sort of defficiency ie. Iron.
as above. i have a 11L tank. with light for 10 hours and seachem excel dosage as per instructions.
WHY. most of plants that i add turn brown after a while.

if it is new plants just bought from LFS, then probably in process of converting from emerse to submerse. Any new leaf comming out?
what kind of plant did you buy from lfs?
