    Hi Delwin,

I do have similar problem with my shrimps, but i try to varies amount of food and at different time of the day. Sometimes, there are more food available between mosses or plants that they could find. Sometimes, the food we provide are too big and coarse for them.

I did notice those food i threw in, they don't take immediately. However after a night, all gone. I guess I feed them at the wrong time where I can't see them eating right away.

Do some trial and error to test out their eating habit. Be patient.

    Thanks for the detail replies.
My shrimps are mostly picking at the mosses, which seem likely eating.
Currently i am having sakura shrimps, tried abt 5 types of shrimps food, but the never even touch it.
As for lefting the food overnight, they also never touch.
    But i will continue trying.

    Hi Delwin,

What are the five types of shrimp food you have tried?
Are the shrimps behaving actively or hiding and remain motionless at most time?
If its the later, your shrimps may not be doing too well. Likely cause could be water condition or they are not adapted to the water yet.
    Just my opinion though.

It is the later. Some shrimps are behaving actively, some hiding and remain motionless most of the time. My crs is ok, but the sakura is like what you said. Thyose shrimps are bought recently.
The five type of food for the shrimp are given from my friend. Some small, some greenish large one.

Maybe your setup is new and has lot of algae to eat
Maybe your tank is large and has lot of algae to eat
Maybe you have just moved the shrimps, they will eat within a week or faster, depend difference of the tank and acclaimisation process
Maybe your tank enviroment is no good, is making your shrimp restless
Maybe your water parameter is not suitable for them, is making your shrimp restless

I suggest you fast them for 2 days, they may take food.

Do not keep throwing food, it will make water worse when they are not eaten.
