Hi bro, nice aquascape! I like the cryptos, the plants around the driftwood and the HC(correct me if I'm wrong) laying on the foreground. It is definitely more just a simple aquascape.
    Happy new year !

Your tittle doesn't do justice to your scape. It's a very nice tank.

thanks all bro for the comments and advices. Been trying very hard to keep up with trimming. They grow so fast. In the end, I threw away almost 1kg every 2 weeks

Very nice scape! Reminds me of the dutch-style scape where plants are neatly allocated.

And...6X39W T5HO!!! You must be dosing profusely at that amount of light. Being the lazy me, 4x39W already gave me a real headache.

Hi, I enjoy the layering effect of the plants as it creates more depth.

Wow, then how do you keep the green spot algae from taking over those slow growing plants like your narrow leaf java ferns?

yesh Bro yaya, the foreground plants are HC (I just saw your comment).

    Bro genes,
hmmmm... I guess my GSA problem is solved after I add in the horned snails ( bumble bee snails). Used to have lots of GSA on my driftwood and glass. They seems to disappear after I add the "bees" in.

Looking at your tank stats, it is quite surprising to know that you had not been dosing for the 2 months and yet the algae didn't show in your tank. Perhaps due to the vast amount of plants in your tank overcome the growth of algae.

Nice tank for the Chinese New Year. Add a few red platies to add some dash of festive colours
    ...I love rubies too ...

I never really grasp what causes algae. Somehow for me, the more I dose the more algae I get. The less I dose the better. Probably due to heavy feeding, the nitrates produced is more than enough. I only dose a little bit of phosphate and micros per month.

Thanks bro Fei miao, I did have some platies inside. My Gf keep complaining about adding platies. She thinks that they are "longkang" (cheap/feeder) fish.
