Tetra colour pro and New Life Spectrum. I find New Life Spectrum to be very good. enhances colours naturally and the apistos seem to love it

New Life Spectrum (NLS) brings out colour more than my tetra pro colour did. my Ap. elizabethae "Super Red" female is starting to show a red belly after a month or so of feeding on this food. and she's definitely not a sneaker as she has laid eggs before.

previously, even when i was feeding astaxathin laced food (red enhancer), she did not show such good colour. needless to say, the male has coloured up even more vibrantly.

i didn't change anything but the food, it it has to be it. i believe that NLS doesn't put in special colour enhancers, so i believe it's the good food that puts the fish in good health and display better colouration

I would recommend NLS cichlid and growth formula for any dwarf cichlids.

Hey exotic i was there as well today and got one NLS already!

My Viejitas took to it after the NLS pellet sunk and softened up. But water kind of cloudy after feeding. Does other folks here encounter water cloudiness as well after feeding?

Ya I've experienced it too. It was especially cloudy right after feeding. It was producing good results, so i'll just live with the it. Now i only feed them once a week.

Here are some information and feedbacks on NLS products at PKF
New Life Spectrum premium fish food - Jeremy Gay looks at a new premium fish food being distributed by Neil Hardy Aquatica.

I personally like NLS Cichlid formula because of it small size(1mm) for easy digestion and the fact that it sink as it hits the water - most dwarf cichlids will fall for it while some simply don't take food from water surface at all.
