if not mistaken, you need to change the liquid indicator every time you change your tank water. this is to ensure that the water condition is exactly the same as the co2 indicator. sera has one which provides up to 40 measurements. assuming fortnightly water change, it'll last you almost 2 years.
however, the indicator is not immediate. it can take up to 1 hour for any change to be registered.

JBL is the same.. must remix after water change or 14 days.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

The JBL one is better. I find that the sera one has lousy suckers and I find it quite difficult to tell the color because it doesn't have a white backing like the JBL.

Of course, Amano's is probably the best looking one of all...

I feel that these kind of indicators are just rough estimates. I used to have them..and according to the instructions, they are good within a KH range of 4 to 6

Vican, I've yet to try JBL's but Sera's stuck on after I pressed it hard against my tank after it drifted off for the first time []. Otherwise the real problem I have with my Sera indicator is opening the pyramid cover into which we're suppose to drip the tank water and indicator. Simply refuse to budge! So now I'm using a dropper to drip water and indicator. BTW is Amanos to curvey one that is in one of Chan's tank - that one very chio *drool*
