Sighting 05 Mar 08: Wild Bettas @ C328

[Cacatuoides]

Saw lots of small packets of wild betta....
Not sure if its Betta Smaragdina or Betta Imbellis

Uncle put 2 pieces on display at the rack, the rest are in packets....

Also few packets of other wild bettas available on the table
Rather huge size, about 4-5cm, one in each packet....

Hope someone can identify the species

Saw the B. imbellis/smaragdina too.. Its really pretty.
Too bad they only have males..

Looking at the pictures online, I suspect it to be B. Imbellis....
The colors are so outstanding!!
Wonder if we can get hold of some females...
