Didn't have that happening to mine.

They are not known to eat plants, but there is a case (or cases) where they do eat fine leave plants, e.g. Hemianthus callitrichoides.

I am pretty sure most of the aquarists do not have such problems, so I will put it down as exceptions rather than the norm.
It is those fine leave foreground plant and I guess it is the one and only. It is quite a big rummy nose and it could be very hungry as I did not feed them for 1 day and light feed on the 2nd day as well.
Anyway, thanks for the reply.

All the sharp tip of the leaf are eaten up by this big fellow...I even caught it eating up the new shoot as well.
I will continue to monitor it and if it persist, I will send him home.![]()

I think they like vege stuff. Mine eats algae wafer meant for my cories.

mine and my fiancee's both enjoy eating Hikari algae wafers as well, but i've never seen mine eat any of my plants
My rummy noses eat the tips of the Blyxa Japonica in my tank previously. So i guess it does happen.

do not do to others what you will not want done to you!
be kind! =)
My rummy noses do not eat plants when I first started.
A few years after having them in the tank, they decided to devour all my E.tenellus.![]()
Not a single plant of E.tenellus in there now.
They leave the crypts, ferns and nanas lone though.
