This industry is the most inhumane way of treating animals on the planet. Such treatments are cruel and are forbidden in some countries unlike "archaic" countries like China, it might be different but hurting and abusing animals without a good excuse, (ie human consumption) is definitely unacceptable. The prevention of cruelty to animals is part of our constitution and is as important as human rights.

I do eat meat but I do not like to see such tortures and abuses being carried out on these animals. Locking them up in small cages is more than enough stress for them already. I really feel sorry about these animals but really dislike about how far human nature can go. Btw, our earth is losing diversity in its flora and fauna and it will be inevitable that even the most abundant species will become extinct in the near future to come. If you look carefully in the IUCN red list, you might be quite shocked to realise that some organisms we take for granted and occasionally seen in our gardens/living environment is endangered.
