hi, BFG, thanks for reminding me that Paddle Tail prefer more aquatic setup. My impression is that they are all climbing onto the driftwood out of water at the farm... btw... was showing someone at my customer's place on a AQ page when he saw your name and said: "hey, I know this guy... he the big ... ... ... " btw, he has a 3ft x 3ft marine tank at home...

Hi Thirteen, sheeees... actually none of them are...

This is an unusual set for fire bellies, they are usually more aquatic, but I guess as long as they can be kept moist constantly, they'll be ok. What do you feed them?
    ...I love rubies too ...

Hi, Fei Miao, this actually is my emersed plants tank that I'm thinking of using as a temporary holding area for the newts when the needs arises. The whole substrate will be soak in water so it will be very moist. I will also add a water dish if I really have to put the newts inside...

By the way 4 out of my 6 newts hated going into the water...

I'm feeding mostly with just molted meal worm and also live tubiflex worm. Hopefully I can added more variety such as microworm and bloodworm when available.

Warmest Regards from Merviso aka Merv Soh
