    Jervis,

Sorry, wondering if you could help me with the following, as I would like to improve my mounted on fans.

1-The acrylic you bought from artfinder (bras basah) is it, cut again to precision with your acrylic cutter ? Do i need to get a file to file away the edgeness.
2-Where did you get the small metal hinges that you can place your acrylic cover onto? SELFIX ?

    Thanks in advance.

    1) I bought it from ArtFriend (Ngee Ann City), no need file as the edges are clean cut. You don't really have to cut the acrylic all the way through, you just need to cut it halfway and break it (like how you break a piece of cookie)

    2) Cube Garden Hooks

a point to note, will the white netting melt if in contact with heat too long? since it is so near to the lights, afraid if cannot withstand the heat and melt, staining the light..
if the white netting a kind of anti-slip mat or another product of ADA ?

I believe the plastic net (heavy duty) will be able to withstand the minor heat emitted from the light. Furthermore the fan is keeping that area cool. I bought this net from DIY shop (not ADA) and it is not the 'soft' kind.

Love the whirlpool effect created by the ADA Lily Pipe... it really helps in maintaining a clear water surface (no film of oil or floating fine CO2)... but the trick is to always maintain the right water level in order for it to work continuously

Bro, thats the outlet. The water comes out and exit via the lower half of the funnel, thus creating a slight vacuum in the upper half. This vacuum then draws in water from the surrounding. I'm still trying to figure out how to place the pipe to get the whirlpool consistently.

Its really cool btw. Get yourself one from Biotope if you're interested. There're also generic ones (non ADA) selling at a much lower price on their shelves.
    Cheers,
    Sean

Plants have grown a lot especially the red stem plant (suspected as Rotala macrandra) Scroll up to see how much it has grown in the past 2 weeks.

    Jervis,

Tank looking very good. Looks like its already self sustaining with all the plants doing well. In that shot, did you group the Rotala macrandra with rotala sp green?
