Yeah this tank turns out better than expected... but again, buying plants is easy, planting is easy too... the real challenge remainsSeriously I do not think this tank has anymore space for shrimps.
I followed silane advise early this year -> "make sure your plants grow well, and your fauna will also". hehehe, very good advise indeed. So im finally keeping boraras B. with nerite snails right now. Less than 4 livestock in my 10L but im really contented.

Personally, I believe Iwagumi tanks (especially those with large expanse of foreground plants) are very difficult to balance during the first few months. It takes a lot of understanding and balancing since there is a lacking of major nutrient consumers/exporters.

Took a top view shot today. I am pretty amazed by the picture actually... didn't realize I've added so many species all cramped into a 1ft cube

The unidentified plant could be 'Hottonia palustris'

Felt there's a need to revive the tank as it was losing focus point (concept)... so I rolled up my sleeves today and introduced a pebble path
I transfered the Cryptocoryne parva to another tank and slowly use a small plastic container to fill the soil base with Gex decorative sand/pebbles. The process was surprisingly simple
I am happy with this improvement as it adds more space to the tank... at least there's a clear concept now

One of the things im most scared of doing is rescapes like this, seems you can pull off stuff like this with minimum effort. lol. Tank looks great. You;ve swapped your diffusor with drop checker as well hehehe.
