haven't been able to get such a shot yet...the pair bred not long after being introduced into their new home, so for the first week they were still getting used to the environment and after that i didn't want to spook the female. i'll try and get some shots it, though i don't remember seeing any zigzags on the flank when i see it flare...be warned though, i think it's common knowledge now that my phototaking skills suck, so more likely than not i will not be able to get a shot
i do have my suspicions about it being a "Tefe" as well due to the tail colour and the lack of zigzags, but regardless of its locality, it's a beautiful wild caught specimen and i'm very happy with it, the name or locality doesn't matter so much to mein fact, maybe it's good that i got a "rare" wild specimen as opposed to normal Tefes?

i just noticed some white spots on the fins of my male and female apistos...no other fish in the tank have the spots. however, as there are fry currently in the tank (1 week old), i don't think it's safe to commence white spot treatment, especially since i'm not 100% it's white spot...what should i do? wait and observe and risk the parents dying, go ahead with treatment and risk the fry dying or remove the fry and go ahead with treatment and risk the fry dying as well?
