    Weird hairlike growth on Bacopa

    I have 2 mth old 4ft planted and just noticed that there is a weird hairlike groth on my Bacopa leaf. Its black,very thins and branches out many times like a mini tree. Any Idea what it is?

    I have 2 mth old 4ft planted and just noticed that there is a weird hairlike groth on my Bacopa leaf. Its black,very thins and branches out many times like a mini tree. Any Idea what it is?

    Check yr water parameters suspect it's too much Po4.

    u can start out by reducing yr feed, remove as much algae
    manually as u can.

    sounds like staghorn algae?
    can try increase co2 rate.

    I'ev tried uping the CO2 for the plants to outwin the growth of the algae but usually it'll fail so by uping the Co2 it may or may not help with the condition.

    Have to see if there is enough plants that grows fast enough to outcompete with the dreaded algae.

    For me i usually cut down feeding and do more Water Change.
