    This is my tank . I had a bad time with algea after feeding them with tetra discus food. I have stopeed sinced then . I will decomission this tank in 2 weeks . Will move everything to my new 5X2X2.5.

    Wow! Some really nice Discus you have there... makes me wanna keep 'em too

    What lighting are you using? Seems bright to me.

    The light is a Hopar 5ft 80x4W for my new tank. Currently I only turn on 2 tube .
    I used to have a Jebo 4 ft 54X4 W but 2 of the ballast failed

    What tubes (K/brand) are you using now? Your tank looks bright and the colour is nice

    I am using the original 10 000K Hopar tubes which come the lamp . Its not that bright actually . The compact camera exposure meter is not good . I tried with another camera the effect is different.

    yes. Its on a platform . I have a semi circular balcony . Half of it is an elevated platform about 15 cm high .
