This website has a useful free PDF guide to aquatic plants, which although addressed at readers in Maine, US, is nonetheless useful to show how to identify plants and their various growth forms. I think quite a number of the species shown are not unfamiliar here in Singapore, but it's also a good reminder of the real danger of chucking unwanted plants into local waters.
