I am keeping nanas, spiky moss, Java fern to house the lovely AP Cacatuoides couple with 18W PL light. Using Ehiem 2215 as the filtration system. No CO2. Water change 25% weekly. slight problem on hairly algae.

Good that your office allows you to keep a tank. Mine doesn't. So many things want to try but so little space for tanks.

Bro, for you tank I think you need more plants to compete with the algea or else, the great algea army will conquer your tank.

This tank is sitting on top of a cabinet with cabling access holds cut. So I can easily hide the ehiem canister in the cabinet and run all horses from the cabling access holds which are at the back of the tank.

One good thing in my working environment is that, most of my bosses appreciated the amusement of aquatics. So I got no problem to setup my aquarium in office. Moreover, I got another bigger capacity tank next to it

Sure, bro I had read about this from some article saying the same thing. 3/4 of the tank space should have covered by plants. Any idea what plants should I have populate into tank like this? Any sample pic here?

My main objective of this tank is breeding the AP. I will update the pic of this lovely couple soon.

Maybe you can add one or two more driftwoods with Java Ferns or Windelov? How about some simple foreground plants like moss or hairgrass. You can also throw in some Hornwort. Good luck and keep us updated.

I agree with FishFan. Anacharis (Elodea Densa) is also a good choice for the start. Once you get the tank to stabilise you can remove the anacharis and plant other plants as it grows quite fast. As you know this plant is a weed and relative hardy.
