    hi guys, thanks for the advices that were given earlier on, i think my shrimps stop dying.. so im going to stop over feeding them...

    by the way just wondering, is there a need to do a WC? if so how often and how much is needed?

    normally i just top up the water weekly. please advise thanks!

    Yes, you definintely need a water change weekly due to nitrites and waste building up. The amount of water to change depends on the amount of food you feed, any plants in the tank, the number of shrimps and the gallons of water you house the shrimps in.

    In general, ~20% water change weekly is done.

    Initially , i thought top up water dilutes the nitrates in the water, but seems it doesn't. The only way to remove concentrated nitrates in the water is to do a weekly water change.

    I see, btw what does a pregnant CRS looks like? normally how long will they start to mate?

    Can check shrimpnow, theres several pics with lots of females carrying eggs. As to when do they mate, it depends very much on the right water conditions.
