Find a clear plastics tub or just buy those small cheap plastic tank.
Fill it with old tank water, throw in some moss\plants, add in some small fish and place it in a sunny place.
    The fish is important,
    1) produce free waste for the setup
    2) keep the Health inspector away. Mosquito loves it and a ticket could cost you a new setup with Crystal reds shrimp included.
In a couple of days, algae will form on the sides, there, free food for your shrimplets for as long as there is SOLAR energy.
You could pour the shrimplets in there. Remove the fish and put in the plastics cover. Feeding is easy, just find a old toothbrush and brush one side. You have 3 sides to grow algae and 1 sides to see what is growing insides.
You could also pour out everything, brush, rinse and pour it into your shrimp tank. Then return everything. But it could mess up your main tank.

Sorry Torque6, i figure the cost of the mosura bioplus could buy specky7 a very big bag of ghost shrimp,- bigs, smalls and sometimes even more pregnant ones than his initial bag of shrimps.

Or Specky7, with that money, you could buy a bag of Cherry Shrimps and change the title to "Food : baby ghost shrimp.
Sorry, ,i was just being pratical and plain lazy.
But Cherry are much easier to keep, feed and breed. The shrimplets are well form from day 1 and they will feed with their parents on the same foods.

Oh, Moderators, sorry for the YOU and the AND in the other post. Old habits die hard. Hope i better with this. Feel like in school again with the red corrections. . Improving my English. Personally, i feel that the YOU and AND are "international" and not too bad but not the more complicated ones.
Anyway, you're the Mods, we understands.
Appreciate the time and efforts to maintain the forum.
Good job and thanks for my initial login hipcup.

i normally don't feed my shrimp.. they manage on the algae in the tank and leftovers from my fish.. I only feed them (algae wafers) when I want them to congregate... for my viewing pleasure..

    cheers..
