Aponogeton, not crypt. Aponogetons grow from a bulb, while crypts have rhizomes.
Singapore used to have rich crypt habitats, but these are now restricted to the Central Catchment Area (the forests around MacRitchie and Pierce Resevoir). Collecting is not permitted though, and neither should responsible aquarists attempt to do so.


I had a confirmation from an amateur botanist that it's Aponogeton undulatus. Anyway thanks guys.
