Run 3 out of 4 tubes,does it stress the ballast?

I have a Jebo 4 X54W 4 ft . I removed one tube to reduce the intensity. But 3 months later , one of the ballast failed . Do using 3 tubes stress up the rest of the ballast ? Please advise , I am lost when it comes to electrical stuff.

i have try this brand before,same spec as yours.the answer is it will not stress up the tube, because it's running on 4 pcs of individual single phrase e ballest without any brand ( maybe oem),because i have have done a stripping down till the last piece of main aluminum.the tube does not last.the most 4 months and you will notice both end of the tube is already blacken.if you have a spare new tube, same spec as what is already install do a swap on one of the tube ,and you will see the difference.if your set is still new ,maybe you can try and ask them to do a replacement for the eballest.of course form where you bought the set.meaning (lfs) if you were to buy the e ballest from them i think it's not cheap either,estimate around 20++.i have ask before ,agent for jebo is h2o.cheers!!
