The c. bullosa is struggling, no new leave yet. the old leave are melting very slowly. Do not know what is the cause.

All plants are growing well, but there are a fair bit of hair algae. Due to my lighting, previously having lower light.

My intention is to get rare crypt from time to time to replace the normal crypt.

After 2 months of melting slowly, the Bullosa finally grow new leave!!

New leave spotted!!


Close up on Creeping moss, Glosso are growing upward under shade.


Downoi & Taco are growing healtier now.


Mini Taco, Sulawesi Eriocaulon, and Gujing.


Surprisingly, on this side of the tank. The wendtii Topica leave are so broad.

How about a pic of the entire thing again? So we can see the growth contrast now. Crypts are virtually indestructable (not literally) but there great!

Nice, whats that growing up the back left on the mesh? Looking good. I love the various textures of green, complimented by various shapes and sizes of leaves. You've managed to get a wonderful variety using an abundance of plants, well done.

Thank you so much for your compliment. That is anchor moss, trying to have a back drop same as the right side, which is fully grown and almost covering up the CO2 reactor.

As for the various texture of green, I am surprise too. As they are all the same type of crypt. Just planted on different area, they grow so different. Some redder on the underside. Some broader & taller. But I like it too, as they provide a different looks.

Will try to recape a bit on the left side, and try to cover up the inlet pipe soon.

If you manage to get it amongst the plants it would look ok. I always believe you can never have too much DW

All the plant are growing quite well now, and almost all the hair algae had gone.

Didn't know that the crypt are growing so big and tall!! As I placed them near the foreground.

Had start a small section of moss wall on the left side, so it will cover the inlet pipe in no time. The reactor on the right side is cover up by the moss already.

All advise & suggestion are most welcome, so I can improve it further.

I do not have wendtii brown, they are wendtii green & wendtii topica. But they have different colour in different area in the tank.

But some are really growing too big and high.

Sure you can bro, I only dose fert once every 2 weeks. 4 ml of K and 2ml of iron only.

And using pH controller to stable the ph level at 6.8.

Just did a rescape as most of the plant go to my 5ft tank.

Half way through, wish to do it slowly to avoid harm to the CRS.

Added this Borneo DW.

Thanks bro Evo, I am using Magic mix with Gex (Green) soil.

Actually, the DW is tied with another 2 dw to make it a tree. You will see it if you go to midori. it is in the left tank. They did a rescape, but the other 2 piece is bought by another guy.

How is it secured? How is the wood staying upright like that? Glued down or something. I would have thought the weight of it would over balance it causing it to fall flat?
