wow. is that a cherry or a sakura?
wow!it look like a steamed shrimp in the tank!haha=D
What a beauty! Thanks for sharing. It has to be a Cherry shrimp since that is the title of his post.![]()
Btw, what is the difference between a Cherry and a Sakura shrimp? Sorry but I was out of the country for more than a year and only recently heard of Sakura shrimps. Thanks.

Didn't know cherry can get that intense colouration. Do the shrimplets grow to such intensity too?
God will make a way, where there seems to be no way
from my limited knowledge of shrimp, the redness of cherry shrimp is made up of the many red spots similar to the shrimplets you see in the foreground, and the red looks like it's under the shell, whereas for sakura shrimp, the red looks painted on over the shell, and is a solid colour instead of many red spots, similar to the large red shrimp that is the focus of the picture
Essentially they are the same thing arent they?
Sakura is just a name given to the higher grades with better colour.
That is really red!!!
Nice one!
cooked already , joking , really red nice one bro=)![]()
hi choo, haha i think your sakura lose to this red steam cherry shrimp^^.
Haha...... maybe should ask him whether would he mind to sell me all his red red shrimp at cherry price.
Some of the sukuras choo has sold me are just as red.
Anyway nice little cherry shrimps and adult sakura (?).

-clint- ~apisto keepers unite!~
Well...Nice power shrimp.
I doubt it will be appropriate to name this guy as a cherry shrimp.
It should be called- "super red sakura".
From my colony of sakuras, I do have few pieces of this quantity but probably less than a handful of them.
Well, bro Fei Mao you are lucky to have picked up this supreme piece.![]()
Nice deep red unlike the cherries i have, does sakura breed true or there's grading system of coloration like CRS?
Got the answer on the other thread
