Agree with you , i am a Endler lover , guppy too, also wondering why there isn't any livebearer when i 1st join in .
Hey guys,
I had a hard time sometime ago trying to locate the livebearer subforum that I thought there was because there are anabantoids, cichlids, invertebrates subforums etc. A pity there isn't any and I had seen some livebearers' posts but I'm not too sure if there are many guppy fans in the forum. So my question was, is it possible to have a subforum dedicated for livebearers in this forum?
greetings,

Hi,
It would really be great to have a subforum for this species. It is pretty difficult to look into guppy topics and posts that are dispersed in the forum which is dedicated to other fish species or in others.

If there is enough demand for it, we would consider. But at this point in time, most of the live bearers are hanging out with the Sg guppy club.
If you guys think that that's a group of you and you want your own space to consolidate your knowledge and experience, let me know.
Cheers,
I have dwarf cichlids in my tanks! Do you?
Well, stop leeching and start contributing!![]()
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.
Pardon my ignorance but... aren't livebearers found in different orders? There are livebearing anabantoids right?
Hi,
Livebearers are no anabantoids. They are livebearing toothed carps that are different from anabantoids because they do not have labyrinths to breathe on the surface of the water. They are in the order of Cypinodontiformes and belongs to the family of poeciliidae. I've not heard of livebearing anabantoids but it would be interesting if there is any species of livebearing anabantoids.
Benny, I really hope that there will be a subforum for livebearers because its really difficult to discuss anything when livebearer hobbyist stick to other sites because there is no subforum dedicated to it here.
