Then the only thing left is to call Aquatechnic if no one else can help. Sometimes they can be quite helpful. Try looking for Peter instead.

Press and hold the 'set' button for more than 10 secs. Then a 'P1' will appear on the screen. Press 'set' button until you see 'P5', then use the 'up' and 'down' button.

    Sherwin,

Mine is 'P'. I set my temperature difference to 2 so that the chiller only kicks in once a day.

    Phang,
The important settings are P2 and P7.

P2-Temperature difference before chiller kicks in (usually set at 2 so chiller dun kick in so often)
P3-Minimum temperature setting (Preset at 15)
P4-Maximum Temperature setting (Preset at 35)
P7-Calibration for chiller's display with your thermometer (Mine set at -3)

    Sherwin,
Mine kicks in once a day for about 2 hours. Starts when digital thermometer shows 28.3 degree and stops at 26.3 degree.

    Phang,
I forgot what is P5 used for. But mine is set at 0(By previous owner). P3 is the minimum temperature you can set. P4 is the maximum. More of a safety feature, so that you cannot set anything below or above it. For P7, it is for the user to calibrate the chiller's display against the thermometer in the aquarium. For example, the chiller's display shows 27 while your thermometer shows 28. Then you have to scroll to P7 and set to 1 so that the chiller's display will plus 1 and shows 28, matching your thermometer.

    Vincent,

Another issue... your calibration is 3 degrees way Off????
And your display able to show by .1 decimal placing???

    Mine can't.....

    Phang,
Yup, mine is 3 degree off. The .1 decimal is from my digital thermometer, not my chiller.

So your Chiller's display is in whole numbers... right...never seen a Teco with display under decimals.....

And to change the readings... would be the "up" and "down" keys , Right??
