newbie in shrimp setup

Hi everyone
just started my 1 ft cherry shrimp 5 days ago.
see pic.
Hope they can survive and reproduce.

intended to setup another 1.5-2 ft plant tank, anyone giving up or upgrading, let me know.

Welcome to the forum, saw your 1 ft. cherry shrimps tank, good start out for beginning and can add more mosses to this tank. If you are looking for 2 ft. tank, can look out at the market place in this forum and might get a good deal. Good luck.

Welcome to AQ, I to M new to shrimp tanks. I set up a 15g tank with a sponge filter that's for a 30g tank. With 45 cherry shrimp and now have 12 females with eggs some laying shrimplets all over the tank for the past 3 to5 days. See them ever where. LOL you'll see some in about 4 weeks also. The females with the saddle will have eggs before long also. Good luck with yours I know you'll have shrimplets in no time. IMO I'd add a lot more moss for your tank. Even a few if not half the bottom of the tank with leaf cover. (They love leaf cover ) make sure any plants you add are slow growing as faster growing plants ten to take some nutrision from them. Welcome aboard and love the set up.
