    HI everyone,
I am new to shrimp and plant keeping. Just started a 1 ft tank with ADA soil and about 40 cherry shrimp. Tank water was from a hobbist. So, everything was in tank the first day.
My question, could I use those filter water (diamond ) + black water (trata brand) for 10% water change weekly?

Wow diamond water is good no sorts of harmful chemical which can be use for water change, but for the black water I'm not to sure about it because I never used it before.

Wah you use Diamond! Surely no need to de-chlorine.

1FT tank with 40 cherries is abit too overcrowded. stick with the 1inch per gallon rule.

Thinking of getting 1 blue crayfish (asking $25) into another 2 ft planted tank.

Crayfish love to uproot plants. And they tend to kill most tankmates that they can get hold of.

Try to keep basic one type, shrimp only tank with shrimp friendly fishes, including a crayfish is a bad idea, as they will prey on other inhibitants of your tank.
