    Hi,

I am new in shrimp and have set up a 1ft tank for about a week with PH at 7. Wonder whether it's suitable to introduce Sulawesi Shrimp into it. Any brother know of where to get this shrimp at the lowest price. Thank

Honestly, if you are new to shrimp, stick to the easier ones like Yamato, cherry, malayan or others. Gain lots of experience first before plunging into something more exotic.

FYI, go through this thread on information of the Sulawesi shrimp. As they have just recently been discovered and much is unknown about them, they aren't suitable as starters for someone new.

hi these shrimps still new to market and I ever asked was around $30 each. I would suggest that buy 1 or 2 to test the water first and increase the number . because they are quite sensitive to water etc.

And don't assume that all sulawesi shrimps are the same, some of species are very weak, some are ok.

The more expensive means it is much weaker... the best way to keep them alive is to have a dedicated tank for them. Their requirements are very different from those normal planted tanks.
    There can only be ONE
