HC should require a lot of CO2 and strong lights. You might want to consider changing the plants if you want to go low tech.

I would assume you are referring to a 2ft tank? The lights are not enough for HC.

Hc without co2 will be tough but i seen other aquarist having success with just dosing excel. But dont ask me how they do it because when i first saw that guy's tank journal, i had the word "liar" in my mind "

No problem, torque..its just a personnel preference..guess we all are still learning and finding the "right" way.. Thks for yr advice though... At least i'm more aware of things now... Why don't u have a go at low tech?..abit slow that's all...

ya abit slow with low tech especially i have no experience in the beginning. Now im having better success with pressurised co2 with regular NPK+trace /equilibrium dosage. Plants look great and my mosses are growing thick and lush.
