Oyama colour VS Temperature

Was deciding colour of OYAMA to use for new setups when i randomly thought of something interesting.We all know how darker colours absorb heat and lighter colours reflect them,a good example would be comparable to a car parked under the sun. With this theory in mind,would planning a OYAMA colour scheme then affect water temperatures? Assuming 2 tanks with the exact same parameters (light wattage, filtration, height,environment etc...) would i expect to find a significant difference in temperature? Wondering if anyone ever thought of this,hope someone could advice?

we all know in science 101, darker colors absorb heat, while lighter colors reflect them. However, remember when we tested this in school using actually direct sunlight, then recording the temperature. For using against a background may not make too much difference unless you tank is covered the reverse way. Though i must admit, its an interesting theory.

Oh well,was just wondering out aloud when discussing the heat reduction properties on a friend's car windscreen via UV film protection and how his black car didn't feel like an oven though under the sun for hours blah blah...This lead to the theory of colours which eventually lead to the thought on coloured OYAMA. Not sure if this was discussed though,hence hoping someone would actually shed some light on the topic!

Background colours won't affect much.... rather insignificant. IMHO, what contributes to temperature is ambient temperature, the heat your canister motor is producing, heat emitted by your lights, etc.

With 3 sides covered in OYAMA,wonder if there's still any difference?
Constant ambient temperature,average heat from lightings etc...

The oyama will block out nature light, unless your tank is in the outdoors then probably having something light colored covering the sides of the tank will help with the tank "cooling".
