Glassware. Some stores may have sales on different items too.

As far as I know, the Japan prices are tightly control, all LFS in Japan have the same price. But if you know the owner you might get discount price .

When I was there in April there were sales in one of the LFS I went to. When I went in Oct, none. So really depends I guess.

Awesome thread. Even afetr all these years the instructions ae still valid, with the exception of An aquarium. Managed to visit Aquaforest (beautiful scapes), Pau Pau Shinjuku, and Pau Pau Ginza (widest selection of equipment).

An aquarium has moved and is now located at Gokokuji Station (Y11), a 5 minute walk from exit 5.

Hi! What does LFS stands for ? I keep seeing this for the fish/shrimp food...

2)How did you guys pack and transfer your aquatic plants or fish back to Singapore? can they survive solely in the bag?
Do you handcarry them? but the amount of water in the bag is more than airport requirements

    3) While they are tax in jap(just like in sg 's GST), anything that is produced in japan is generally much cheaper in Japan, it is still worth the effort , while I may be novice in aquatic breeding, I m not a novice in Japan.

I also visited a couple of other smaller LFS in Tokyo, but I must say you'll be set if you visit those 3 places. AquaForest and
Pau Pau aquarium in Ginza are a must go. Great display tanks and lots to see.

I wasn't expecting ADA stuff to be much cheaper than what we get in Singapore, but was pleasantly surprised that most items were significantly cheaper. Some items where up to SG$150 cheaper in Tokyo. I went crazy and got most of my upcoming ADA set up there.

I don't know why I've always thought of it as Live Fish Shop. Maybe because I see many fish sellers at the market, lol.
