Ranges from $40 - $$$ depending on what species you are looking for bro.

Place to get them, C328 and Biotope. Biotope is your best bet though.

apistogramma have many different kinds.. i would say one of the most common will be the apisto. cacatuoides.. can be found in c328 =)

price wise can be from $10+ - few hundreds per pair depends on species and wild caught or tank breed.

    my 2cents worth =)

Yup agreed with Eman.. Some home breeders might have juveniles for sale.

Most important is remember to cycle your tank first before you get a pair.

Places like C328, Biotope, Seaview and NKS will stock apistogramma. You can drop by to take a look and compare the quality and price.

    genes,

thanks for your link. i just read it. does my tank temperature has to be at 28 to 30 to keep them and hopefully breed them? i'm planning to do some planting like hairgrass and such. so i was thinking to bring the temperature down to 25 or below.

    is that harmful to apistogramma?

I spotted a few pairs of apisto cacatuoides "orange flash" , apisto vietja at Y618 2 week ago . Selling at $28 per pair, not sure they are still there.

25 is ok. just make sure that your temperature do not fluctuate. If not....white spots may appear.

    thanks man,

i'll be going there to check it out this weekend. also, i'm going to start a planted 1 ft tank this weekend. is it adviseable to put those fishes in straight after planting or should i let it settle for a month or so before introducing them?
