Make sure both fan have the same voltage and enough current to supply both fans. I'm using 1 adaptor to run 3 fans.

Hi,
Anyone try this before? Reason is I already have a fan running on AC>DC adapter, and I wanted to add another same model fan but prefer to use only 1 adapter to run two fan. Will it reduce the RPM of each fan? assuming we run it in parallel.
Rdgs.

Assuming you have 12V fans and 12V adapter, and as long as the sum of the current ratings of the 2 fans are lower than that of the adapter, you can wire them in parallel without reducing the rpm. If the adapter cannot supply enough current, the fans will just run at a reduced rpm. The current ratings are printed on both fan and adapter. A typical 12V PC fan draws 0.1-0.2A.
