    i have it too! but also don't know the name... by the way mine seems to open and close not according to light. sometime after light on it closed. does anyone know why?

    also, it seems like my black molly like to bite this plant. any harm to it?

    for all you know... this plant grow tall very fast... i think it up about 5cm within a week... so for those who thought this is a short plant its is not..

    Any clearer closed up photographs? From the current photographs shown, could it be Hottonia Palustris? Do an image search on Google and let us know.

    Definitely not Hottonia Palustris because of the brown stem.

    I can't tell what it is from the pictures. Any close ups?

    The stem become green when it grow tall...

    My Hottonia Palustris, always has a green stem..but the leaves look similar to what's shown in the picture above. I still don't think we have the same plant.

    From the limited view, I strongly feel this is H. palustris...
    What John has is definitely H.palustris..but from the weekly shop visits..they have been pushing this plant quite vigoursly these few weeks so i have a feeling some of you guys might have bought it.

    Yes, mine look like this now. It used to look like daoism's picture when i bought it. this plant needs very little care. even if you cut the stem and re-plant, t will still re-grow again.. but not for black mollies keeper.. the mollies like to bite the leaves and it often came out...
