Yr advise pls - a Eheim 2213 & an internal filter

HI

I got an Eheim 2213(440L/H) ext. filter. Was thinking to use it in my 1.5ft planted tank(~17 gal).

Currently, i am using an 500L/H internal powerhead filter. It take up space in my tank & is troublesome to clean the filter when required.

Do u guys think tt Eheim will be an overkill in my tank although the flowrate is lesser compared to my existing int. filter which is 500L/H

Not an overkill. Just make sure you control the current.
