I have an Ista MAX MIX CO2 REACTOR and I have a couple of questions that I hope you guys/gals can help with.

    1. The bottom scre cap seems to be leaking. Any ideas on fixing this?

    2. The top area (the blades inside the reator) has a lot of algae. Any way to remove or clean?

    Thank you in advance.

Just pull the top cap out and clean the algae or whatever is.Then add silicon gel around the internal cap and assemble back. Wait for 24hrs to allow to cure and bingo ..ready to use.
    cheers

The bottom cap is actually screwed on. Just make sure the O-ring is snugged nicely when you screw it back on. Once you managed to open it, there shouldn't be a problem clean it with a brush.

The O-ring is actually a square section. It will harden as you use it due to the CO2 injection. Try getting some silicone grease to lubricate it before assembly so that it will slip into position and not kink when you screw the cap back on. You can get rid of algae by soaking it in Chlorine bleach. Make sure you soak it a few times into water with de-chlorinator before you use it again.
