Put a small bunch of land plant (these happen to grow in my main potted plant; do not know how they get there...they just grew) in aquarium. Today, they still alive. But i guess it may not grow.

    Has anyone try?

Thinking also of putting a branch of basil plant into aquarium.

I also noticed some terrestial plants can survive submerged but they do not propergate or grow. Had some plants that the guys at lfs calls it " The plant of Goddess of Mercy" that survive in the tank for a some time. does not grow much so I am not too sure how much they contribute to the tank bio system.
