There are really nice pictures of CRS on high tech plants like (GuJing) which requires high light and some CO2 to grow well.

Can I inject CO2 in my CRS tank? Say 1 bubble every 2 seconds or so? I darent try currently, but am thinking of doing so if the CRS can eventually acclimatize.

    What sayeth you, expert brothers?

Depends on how heavily planted your tank is, and its co2 requirements.

Tank is a one and a half ft and comprises mainly of moss, the moss being tied to a driftwood (bogwood type), the driftwood sitting on at least 60 percent of the floor space. In the remaining open spaces nearer the back, there are loose mosses being stuffed around the edges and free hanging in the vertical spaces. The frontage 10-15 percent floor space is clear with only one tenellus with some very small runners.

This tank had previously just recovered from a sponge like algae attack (recover means manual removal and tons of WC over the course of 2 weeks).

6 Amanos and 6 large cherries were introduced 2 1/2 weeks ago as clean up crew and to test water conditions (so far one death from jumping out of water).

On Fri, I introduced two of the largest and nicest shrimps from my office tank (V band) and two SS grades from C328.

Let me see if I can take some...

I have now introduced 5 small otos to eliminate algae, a filter shrimp and some horned snails.

These two from my office tank

This is probably the other SS grade from C328

I am going to get some S+ grades from a well known local breeder soon, wonder how his will compare to our budget friendly C328

Your tank looks good, gui jin should be a high requirement plant, so would need good co2 and chiller.

Of course Co2 may not be good for the CRS, CRS more important than GuJin :P

    Hi Savant

From the 4 picture you've put up, 2 are SSS? The other 2 are S grade?

Your SSS grade certainly looks great. How much you bought for both grade?

I am currently keeping cherry shrimp, CRS A & S grade. I am really keen to get CRS - SS & SSS grade. Is there a place where they sell them at a more afforable price?

Those local breeders that you guys mention selling CRS what price are they selling? Greatful if you can give more info or share these contact?

I would have thought that the 2 are SS grades... and the other two is A+ grade breed out from 6 dollar shrimps in my office tank

I bought my SS at C328. Today I cannot resist and bought another 2 from the Yishun shop (but not so nice - maybe stressed). Spend too much $ liao.

I am now waiting to get some nicer ones (SS but with good lineage) from a reputable breeder in Sg (but must wait a week or so coz hes busy). Local breeder doesnt mean cheaper from shops but may be better in terms of bloodline. I am not so experienced yet as I have not manage to buy. But I am sure these will show out to be one of the nicest and will take pics of all of them when I get them.

Spotted more SS grades at C328. The prices went down too. Am tempted to get more!!

Scooped out the Yishun ones for my office tank as the color does not seem as good.
