Is there any outflow control valve for 2213? I heard that using a control valve for 2213 may cause damage to the unit, is that really true?

I've been using it on 2213 for about half a year, so far so good. It might damage the unit if you adjust the inflow instead of the out flow.

As what Bro Shadow said, adjust the outflow instead of the inflow to control the rate of outflow. Alternatively, you can always face the output of the rainbar towards the glass to reduce the impact of the flow.

Just purchased the Eheim control valve. Is there any orientation that i must use it in? As in which way is IN and which is OUT? Or both sides of valve are the same whichever sides i use?
