2x 1f cube tank using 2ft lighting.

hi guys. i got a 1ft cube set up on my 2ft lower tier for apisto. planning to set up another 1ft cube just beside the other 1ft cube for raising apisto fries. lets say i would like to in put 18watt for each of the tank. can i say that i just get a 2ft 36watt PL hook over the 2 tank. and i get 18watt each tank?

Just get a 2ft light set will do cheaper then getting 2 x 1ft light set.

remember you said once, 1x PL 18w light brighter than 2x PL 9w.

Oic.. for my apisto rack i'm using a 55W PL 2ft light set for 2 x 1ft cube tank. I did not put the light resting on the tank but tie the light on the tier.

a bro told me that if i do so, each 1ft cube will recieve 36watt if i do so... guess i will have to go for 2ft FL.. is there any 18 or 24watt FL lighting for 2ft in the market?
