non-Eheim O-ring?

is there any non-Eheim brand of O-ring for Eheim canister?

An o-ring is still an o-ring be it from eheim or any other manufacturer. You may find it in hardware stores and etc. Cutting larger ones and joining them get the correct size works as well. Just make sure you do a good job at joining them.

I have experience buying 3rd party o-ring for my 2217, size thickness all look ok. It csn fit the head but can't go in to the canister, apparently those eheim o-ring is softer, thus can be squeeze in. The 3rd psrty on is hard rubber. So just be carefull.
