Just want to share my simple low-tech tank.

Tank Size : 30x23x26 cm
Setup in Oct 2007

Subs: GEX-like soil
Lighting: Boyu 11W 6500K
Filtering: GEX HOB
CO2 : Nil
Fert : Nil
WC : 30% fortnightly

Flora: Echinodorus Tenellus, Cyperus helferi, Rotala wallichii, Microsorum pteropus 'Windelov', Java moss, Cryptocoryne wendtii "green", Cryptocoryne wendtii "brown"

Fauna: 3 cardinal tetra, cherry shrimps

lol, 3 cardinal tetra and 1 shrimp. Just my kinda of tank as I dont enjoy crowding too many fauna in a cube tank as well.

I have to agree with Jervis, your choice of 13w light 6500k is really effective. Can have a few shots of the lights you are using? Im just using the gex 12w lights, but not sure whats the spectrum for them.

Correction, my lights is only 11W, my error.
It is a simple Boyu clip on lightset.

There are more than a cherry shrimp, they just keep breeding in the tank but maintaining a stable population size in there. Estimate maybe 10+ of them.

Very impressive setup, refering your small size tank can accumulate so many type of plants and still do not look cramped. Indeed, you deserve a "clap" for the guru is back. Cheers.

With the correct expectation, it is not difficult to have a tank like that. No bubbling, slow growth but ease of maintenance.
