    Hi,
Got this today at $18.90. It has a direct ac plug which do away with dc adapter and with bigger fan blades. It is good enough for 1ft shrimp tank?

The mobile phone is for giving an idea to the fan size and not a remote control.

Looks a bit big and bulky for a 1FT tank, i used thermaltake 1225 PC fan to keep my tank cool under 25 degrees. Ive just changed to a coolermaster 9cm fan with blue led so i do not have to keep topping up an inch of water per day. Both fans were keeping my temp at 25, but smaller fan takes longer but its fine by me.

here are some pics, i modified it yesterday to a 9cm fan instead of the previous 12cm. Have added a plastic new mesh as well, since im keeping both rasbora and snails now.

air rods from NA around $4
    plastic mesh 1 M for $1.50
and the new clear coolermaster fan at $7 from sim lim square.

It runs on a low 9w 24/7, with less than 12db. silent than most aquarium fans sold in LFS.
