Some Malaysian dude tried smuggling these exotics and A CLOWN FISH in.

Why kind of clown smuggle in a clown fish? But the frogs, nice!

Wonder what does the authorities do with the confiscated animals? Hope they don't euthanise them.

WOW real cute, most likely end up in the Zoo.
At least they will be well taken care off.
Heard they can cost quite a lot in the black market.

Don't be sure that they will be taken care of I have seen some of the animals they shuffle around cause the zoo don't want them, they would be better kept as pets by owners actually.

Think it'd be better if such idiots don't consider buying, much less bringing such animals back at all.

Of course that guy was an idiot, he was trying to smuggle the animals across to sell! However not every end buyers of exotic animals are to blame. For example, who knows that it is illegal to catch lizards and keep them as pets in Singapore?

My advice to people who are suddenly burdened with the knowledge that their pets are illegal, surrender them only if you think you are incapable of handling them, the AVA does not want your pet, the zoo does not want it either, don't think that by surrendering them, it will be a better life for them. Another thing is DO NOT release them into the wild.
