Your choice and thanks for the compliments!!

[other then using the inverter, can we just use a DC adapter? so that the power source is away from the water..

roughly what is the cost for the inverter? ]

the cost of the inverter depends on the loading... as for teh dc adapter, my experiences with them were they gave up on me after 1 month so .......

thanks for the feedback. also, with feedbacks gather on some of the term i use here, can i just say that the term inverter for the power supply unit is purely my term and if i have mislead anyone here, my apologies To prevent any potential unhappiness from arising, let us all use the term" dual switch power supply" from this thread onwards Cheers!!

is this another one of your own terms?
would someone be able to purchase a similar power supply from sim lim using either one of your terms; inverter or dual switch power supply?
if you do not wish to use the proper term, use the generic term; power supply.

    Some suggestions,

    - Get a smaller current rating fan. Personally i think 12V/1A rating is much too strong and noisy . As you are installing multiple fans, probably a 3 X 0.2A fans would be enough.

    - Check the RPM, get those lower RPM, more silent

    - The "inverter" you used are for industrial purpose. Get those that looks like your handphone battery charger. Rating, if you use 4 X 0.2A, find a 1A ~ 3A rating DC power supply.

    Hi,

Is the inverter absolutely neccessary? Can we just connect the DC fans to one power adaptor?
