Where to find stones???

Hi ,

Anyone know where can i find a fair amount of stones to choose and buy from ?
I planning to do Iwagumi setup soon hopefully.

Chee yong, alot of us looking for iwagumi stones

, unfortunately only midori/ada biotope and NA carries them. Last i heard NA stones all gone, biotope since feb no stock and midori got probably only a couple.

The rest of the LFS in singapore carries, limestone like stones, white rocks, lava rocks and so on, all which i find not too suitable for iwagumi.

Aquanatix is on this journey too, might want to tag along with him

I travel to the various LFS on a monthly basis, so far c328/polyart/y618/aquastar/colorful/seaview/k&k/otf + others pasir ris farmway = dont have with exception to NA. I will keep a look out for you cheeyong.

Hopefully better luck next month.

NA apparently came in some stock this week, but by the time i arrived on saturday, only a few pieces were left. Chan told me someone came by on Friday night and grabbed 10+ pieces

Really have to hand it to chan sometimes, he stock stones are quite constant compared to most LFS.

yeah i'm definitely dropping by after work tomorrow...i hope he still has some left and the same person doesn't go down to grab 10+ pieces in the afternoon like with the last batch

Don't leave out the plants nurseries bro. Almost all the nurseries along Thomson Road have got rocks and much cheaper too.

I buy my rocks from plant nurseries too, it's next to kovan MRT station.

rushed there during dinner hour and grabbed 5 kilos of rocks...there wasn't much selection left when i was there... now there should be 1 really large piece and a number of small ones suitable for nano tanks
