I bought it from a electrical shop in SLT for $90 3 yrs ago. It a rectangular metal casing with many hole on top(for cooling purpose) measuring about 20cm x 10cm x 4cm for connecting to a charger for DC batteries. Anyway if the fans die on me early then I will know it a regulated type.
    ----------------
if the adapter is meant for connecting to a battery charger, then it is the unregulated type. anyway, your fans should last quite sometime before they conk out. but you will have the flexibility of adding more fans.

Bought three 90mm DC fans $6 each from SLT. Think should be enough to bring the temp down for my 2ft tank.

Bought some xmass moss from GenX this afternoon. Need to know should I tie them with the tip pointing up or down for my backdrop. Thanks.

no diff, the moss will grow to suit the light direction (phototropism), just anyhow tie it on, it'll grow.

Got my hands on a 2.3l co2 tank(green colour) with the pressure gauge. Is pressure gauge = co2 regulator? Besides the bubble counter and diffuser/reactor/atomiser(which works best with a pressurised output?), what other things do I need to get it to work? Do not plan to get the solenoid.

    TIA.

Pressure Guage should = regulator. You can connect a CO2 pipe right and it has a needle valve?

You also need 2 check valves. Install one between regulator and bubble counter and one between bubble counter and reactor/atomiser/diffuser.

I prefer a reactor... more efficient and no teeny-weeny bubbles floating all over the tank.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:
A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

There is a turning knob on the left of the regulator, is that the needle valve?

I have decided to get the jaqno 3-in-1. Anyone knows how much and where to buy?
