It looks like a side shoot of his Gratiola sp., the many leaved stem plant above it. It's not a medium size plant, but grows very large ( 2 ft high or more) with ample lighting and CO2. System Control & Engineering (see LFS list) has some at the moment.

Yup! Fully agree with budak on that one. I got that covering almost my 2ft due to massive growth....seems to outgrow my trimming schedule...[]

hey, talking about my gratiola behind my back huh?

cyberjoe, yes the plant is gratiola and it is just a teeny weeny shoot as budak says. The rest of the plants on top are the mommy and brudders. With strong lights they are purplish red and red, very pretty, and grows like nobody's business. Every few weeks I have to trim the tops off and it becomes more and more bushy and blocking out all the lights! I finally did away with all the stem plants and now only have hair grass, the big Echinodorus, lotus and blyxa [] [] []

btw it has a very pleasant odour.
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.
