    Hi All,

Recently I saw a small nos of baby caca guarded by the mother caca in one corner of my 3ft tank. I had 2 pairs of caca in the tank with some 25 cardinal tetras. It's a heavily planted tank. After 3 days of spotting the babies, I didn't manage to spot any since yesterday. Could the mother ate up all the fry ? What would have cause that ? Hope to get some advice from you guys here into breeding apisto. I'm new to this hobby. Thanks.

The mother could've been spooked by the cardinals,or maybe even by you searching eagerly for the babies.. the cardinals do eat fry too, but such a sudden disappearance of all the fry is probably due to the mother/father eating the fry, i think...
