Strange....I thought I saw a pair of elizabethae today afternoon about 5+ -6?

3 digit price. The female is quite small but can see the male has quite alot of red, especially the cheeks. Really nice male I must say...

    Zack,

I think you won't like it based on the requirements you told me about the hongsloi 2 you expected..

    Haha..

True True.. Think you should go down one day and take a look yourself instead of asking others for their opinions.. Who knows you might really like and buy them in the end.. One man's meat is another man's poison mah.. So find one day we go down together to have a look if possible..

    Regards

Hongsloi II only 1 pair available.

Some black chin spots cacatuoides like ventrals. So wondering if this blackchin given its size and age, has any chances to develop this feature? Or if it does, by now it should be showing? I think it's a unique feature if it does.

    Hi e-mini
You were the one buying the sulawesi shirmps and enquired about the A. elizabethae as well? Were you the one that bought it in the end? It was gone an hour or so later.

    Hi Wilson
The apisto you saw with similiar ventrals to that of bred A. cacatuoides is still an A. sp. "Black Chin". This fish is also from the A. cacatuoides group. The bred variants will have this pattern on their ventrals. Wild ones are usually bluish without the patterns.

Rui Sheng, Mike Wise from Apistogramma commented on the ventral feature on one of the threads. Seems that it may be something found on domestically-bred fish. Thread is here:

Also some info on Apistogramma sp. "Blackchin", with a really beautiful male.

I'm not the one who is buying shrimps & I didn't brought the A. elizabethae. I wanted to have a better look but you are holding on to the fish & don't have intentions of letting go

Just went down today and upon inspection of the black chin, it does spot with cacatuiodes' ventrals. Looks cool. For those not sure of what I'm talking about. Check out the link by limchongyu.

went down last saturday and saw the pair of eliz. Small and nice red color on the cheeks although they are in stress mood. I believe there's room to improve for this pair.
